stabdads nepeta and equius

wondering if I just need to type up some huge journal to get this all down... . .

I'm seriously considering typing up a fanfic (there's no way I could do it completely in comic form, and I'm already pressed for time) and just adding a ton of doodles if I could get AO3 to cooperate with me.

Equius Zahak and Nepeta Leijon are cousins by Equius's father and Nepeta's mother. Equius has lived in the city of Alternia his entire life, though he's been rather sheltered in the rich part of town. Nepeta, on the other hand, was raised in Spain and has a tendency to roll her r's. Nepeta's mother became involved in an affair when Nepeta reached adolescence, disgracing the esteemed family name and forcing her daughter to move to Alternia to avoid the scandal. Despite her mother's actions, Nepeta is extremely outgoing and is typically the one to drag Equius into social situations. She was the one to introduce Equius to Aradia.

Equius, on the other hand, has developed a love for horses and breeding that taints his view of racial tensions. He occasionally compares the lower classes to mules among stallions, and becomes exceedingly nervous when discussing his unhappy attraction to Aradia. He also enjoys metalwork, going as far to craft several models of a "bullet-proof armor", though most are too bulky and inefficient to wear.
